The base has been there for a year with RP to support why it's been there. Why does the base suddenly need destroyed?

Unalwfuls don't need a "legit" reason to siege. They are unalwfuls for a reason.

Okay, first lets talk about how you, the extremely hurt minority believe like your lives depend on it that the community is gonna lose the remaining 30-40 people over the loss of one or two individuals that lost a pixel castle for placing it in the vicinity of a known motherfarking pirate faction. No, we're not going to lose them, at most it's gonna be the affected party that will leave, but not even that, they will leave for a few days then return knowing damn well there aren't many other possibilities to raise another "empire" in other games like Discovery offers, only next time they will do it carefully or spitefully, regardless of their choice the end will eventually be inevitably the same as always, one party losing and the other accused of.... whatever helps people sleep at night when they're accusing.

2. And this is the funny one, you claim that no pobs = no traders, and no traders = no piracy. Let me tell you some ***** in case you just recently returned only to throw tantrums. With or without the bases my last piracy attempts have been so disappointing from the pirated end that i eventually gave up even trying. There's not one single effing excuse for traders not to RP (at least!!!!), insteat they give half assed replies, act like they're newbies (you know who you are, buddy(ies) ), etc etc etc. Your claim that sieging a few badly placed bases will have any impact or make any difference in the Pirate-Trader encounters is not only a hard reach, its stupid and even annoying that you try to make such a huge deal out of it.

2. A good portion of traders use POBs whether for supplying or for ore profiting. So yes, right now as it stands, a large portion of the logistics segment of the game will not play, at least in the same degree, that they do now. It might eventually bounce back some, but initially there will be an exodus from the logistics side of the community. As far as bad piracy goes, yes, there are traders that are piss poor at RP'ing or insta-dock. I put the hammer down on them just as I do against pirates with piss poor RP. However, I do have 2 questions for you. 1. Do you shadow log on transports and miners? 2. Do you instantly demand money? If you answered yes, there is a high chance you will get no RP. Logistics groups are tired of "give money or die" and then they fly away. I'm tired of just giving away my money to freebooters. Not saying this is you, but if you don't do this or stop doing this, you may find transports not flying away from you or even flying toward you for RP. Food for thought.

Besieging a PoB is like throwing a rock into a swamp full of frogs. Why so much hate from PoB owners? Just a game btw

Imagine working on something for months, or even a year, building RP around it, creating contacts, contracts, and building characters around your work only for it to be destroyed for reasons none other than "because". Should there be happiness about it? Why even try again?
