I hope this works and if doesn't then the last resort will be to load up a saved game where Mission 6 has been completed.

Thanks Schxer for your help. I downloaded and off course assumed that it went to the right spot. I started the game from Battleship Hood but still lost the race. Put it away and started the game after lunch. Big problem, lost all saved games. Please don't think I'm blaming you or anybody but I lost everything so I have to start again from the very beginning.
