But, in this case, the character was in the Official Faction, right? It did spend time learning all of this. I honestly think that we need to consider the Roleplay of the situation instead of calling it BS.
Now, I agree that, if you make an indie character and go to all these places, they shouldn't be able to/shouldn't in general, spill the beans so to say. But, ignoring the fact that Roleplay SEEMS to have been made, leading up to this, dismissing it would absolutely be seen as OORP behaviour, now. If the admins retcon this, fine, that's their choice. But, I really hope they do not and I hope that other RP will come out of this, a man hunt after Nicole, telling allies and others to keep an eye out and capture them for Liberty. A lot of Roleplay can come from this, suddenly LN has a reason to regularly patrol these installations, attacking/arresting those that try to come close. Maybe even force Liberty to cover-up the situation.

In the end, I think this all will be up to the Admins and Devs.

But the logic of RP matters as well. Do you think a mid chain officer in, say US NSA, knows much about each project of DARPA or other research cells working on cutting edge tech for the US gov?

The admins do not have to retcon anything. This is player RP. You did not see governments of other houses react to any of this intel, or Order, or whoever. The logic behind this lack of reaction is in the lack of RP logic itself. It voids the need in other houses' intel branches. It also breaks the RP immersion wherein a single officer of a navy can whistleblow almost all secrets of a House, related to navy or not. It is not the matter of rulebreaking for sure, just a matter of taste. If people rping with this intel are fine with it - fine by me. Just don't be surprised at being ignored afterwards. Because with this level of intel Kusari KOI can also take a few screenshots and put it forth as knowing Liberty's secrets, but it won't work, right?
