Well Willard is funny - it has been compromised in canon, insurgents cracked it and it still burns since then and is cracked (we sent Dev plan for that ) in game. Honestly the line of make believe of what's revealed and what isn't is very blurry. The easy way insurgency was attacked and bases found out seemed like Navy employed a wizard for example.
E.g. in Gallia several high ranking Council members that were in confederacy defected to Maquis, former cops joined brigands en masse when police was abolished and made a military agency...There's many other cases of former allies defecting in canon now being on the opposite side. Almost all older hidden bases could be outed and it being somewhat reasonable - but umm, why really - the way that person did it was just hilariously over the top that it killed any intrigue - sometimes for sake of RP it's just better to be oblivious, make mistakes, remember things wrong or it becomes incredibly dull - Gallia is exhibit A, people continue to roleplay hidden bases as hidden, records lost or forgotten about.
