Quote:Chaotic?
I didnt have that impression. What do you mean by chaotic?
Chaos=Order now? tongue.gif
Do you mean anarchy? (=no hierarchy by its true meaning, despite its negative conotations)
I was referencing an old term used in RPG's regarding how a character acts in any given situation. Character personalities are labelled like so:
Chaotic Lawful/Chaotic Good
Lawful/Good
Neutral
Unlawful/Evil
Chaotic Unlawful/Chaotic Evil
At any rate, what I meant by the term was that the order is probably the most lawful group in sirius as shown by their motives. They do not care about power, or wealth, or petty squabbles over land and title - the only thing they care about is protecting humanity from an alien threat, even if most of humanity wants them dead. They're doing something completely selfless for the greater good, hence they are of a chaotic lawful personality.
Quote:What I also meant... the Corsairs can make alternative ships. Just say the Osiris doesnt meet the needs of the Corsairs. There is no real ingame need for them to fly it.
Actually, there is. The Osiris is a light battleship, whereas the only other battleship-class vessel available to the corsairs is their dreadnaught. The dreadnaught has trouble operating in any kind of asteroid or debris field, and has a lower survivability rate in mass battles because of it's size.
