To reiterate in short: Imperial Rheinland is not a fascist state just because its players use fascist imagery. It's a trend that predates the coup and the civil war by years. The historic Imperial Rheinland, from before the war, was a pretty swell place to live in as a blue collar worker, given the existence of the powerful unions that transformed into the LWB and the Unioners afters its collapse. There is plenty of reasons for a workers movement to be pro-Imperial in this case, doubly so given it's the Federalists, who caused the emergence of all the unlawful factions Rheinland is currently plagued by, were very much Liberty-tier corporate pawns.
