Nobody is forcing you to follow someone. Just accept that they got away?

Except they didn't. They have nowhere to go except to their inevitable death which will still be in PvP, still making them PvP dead for an hour, still "losing" the encounter.

For what it's worth, I do agree with the sentiment and said the same when this came up:



But I still don't think there is any purpose for this to ever be done except out of spite. Which makes me think it'd be best not to allow.

I also wouldn't sanction someone over a first offence, but if someone made a habit out of it - likely along with other dubious behavior - I think it'd become a problem in my eyes.
