We appreciate Bretonia's concern for the safety of Crayterian democracy, but I assure you that such concerns are misplaced. The deployment of the Federal Police in force will only serve to ensure that such actions like that which happened to Governor Stone will not happen again. Our police are professionals, and only act when they need to, and know the consequences of interfering with the democratic process. Crayter has centuries of experience in this matter, going back long before the exodus from the Crayter Sector, and this is not the first time such security measures have needed to be taken.
Rest assured that our citizens will have every chance to speak their voice, and that their participation in the democratic process will remain unhindered. We welcome Bretonia to continue to observe the election, but ask that our ally respect the democratic institutions that Crayter has upheld for almost a millennia.
For those we left behind.
