"Very well"

Richard looked down at the papers on his desk. No matter the work, no matter how much of it was done, more always piled up. things were better now, and that dim hope that things might just turn around, had turned into a very strong possibility, maybe even a certainty. However, he knew well enough, that these were the times when things could all fall apart, just when you thought you were safe.

Looking up, he nodded once to Belka.

"The Colonial Republic will move forward with this plan. However, we require something else from you. With everything else you have promised us for this operation, we also require the Encryption Codes of the Communication Frequencies of the Gallic Royal Navy. We understand these codes change weekly - we only need the codes for the window of time this operation will be set. Not only will this help our forces track military movement, but it also gives us an edge if this does turn out to be a trap."

Richard looked into the screen, into Lelouch's eyes. His expression was steel.

"Without those codes, I don't feel we can cooperate. I hope you understand."
