I keep repeating that it is better and more fluid for the gameplay to periodically add things to the game, instead of dropping a big patch on the community.
It has been 453 days after the last announced hotfix.
During this time, the game was stagnant. Nothing of note happened. People got bored.
During this time, there was nothing to come back for, or new things to check out. Except for the occasional event, which spiked the playerlist a bit, and then it died again.
Do you honestly expect this patch will save the game if nothing else gets added in the year after? That is naive. The game needs regular changes to keep it interesting. Monster patches like this will just cause stagnation, as it hoards changes while people move on to play something else.
Furthermore, as I mentioned before: Don't put out release dates when you can't deliver. Especially when you tried to hype it beforehand. This will just come back like a boomerang. Also, the argument that you are unpaid is true, but it is also completely irrelevant. It is a task you took on yourself. Complaining afterwards that you have to work on things which you signed up for. No one forced you to.
