COMM ID:Norfolk Station Naval Command Center TARGET ID:Primary Fleet Command HQ SUBJECT:Lieutenant Alan Polstari & LNF Paradise ENCRYPTION:Medium PRIORITY:Medium
We would like to report the following with respect to the incident that occurred earlier today.
[color=#FFFFFF]Subject:Lt. Alan Polstari
Lt. Polstari is currently under sedation in Med Bay 4. He suffered a several lacerations to the face from exploding panels upon the LNF Paradise, as well as smoke inhalation from the fires that were aboard the vessel. He also appears to be suffering from a minor case of PTSD brought on by the experiences of the day. We expect a full physical recovery within a day, though the traumas of the ***REDACTED*** influences, as well as the unexpected loss of the LNS Antietam to Order vessel fire, will need to be worked through over time. We have an agent of the Internal Security Division assigned to watch him for further psychological disturbances in case he relapses.
Subject:Crew and Marines
We report that five members of the crew of the LNF Paradise were severely injured during this incident, though all are expected to make a full recovery with expected return to duty times varying from three to four weeks. One member of the crew will require a bio-mechanical prosthetic replacement, however, and will be rotated to desk duty until he adapts to his new leg. All crew have been checked for ***REDACTED*** influences, and while the bridge crew shows some signs of trauma, we expect that with guidance they will be able to make a full recovery here shortly. Agents from Internal Security Division have been tasked to keep an eye on each member until such time as they are considered psychologically stable.
All Marines aboard were wearing full HazMat Combat gear, and suffered minor injuries at worst. All have been checked for ***REDACTED*** influences and been found to be healthy and ready for duty.
Subject:LNF Paradise
We regret to report that the LNF Paradise was severely damaged during the incident. Our engineers estimate a week, minimum, before her armor plating can be replaced and her internal systems restored. Were it not for the Enhanced Armor Plating she was equipped with, this vessel most certainly would have ended up as a burned out hulk deep in unkown space. As it stands, it's a semi-wrecked vessel sitting in Docking Bay 3. Our engineers have strong hopes that they will be able to restore her to full capacity, and will use this time to upgrade the software, as well the underlying internal workings, with our latest achievements in those fields. We expect that using the Bio-Neural processing packs in place of hard wiring will increase computational power in all areas, as well as reduce the risk of crew injury when the vessel is damaged.
