Adachi stands side by side with Perez, she had every intention of allowing him to complete his task from Chenzo. She was genuinely curious about what he would say and was only happy to allow him to perform a shakedown.
Just before Perez gives his first navigational order, he turns to Adachi and asks "Señorita Adachi, may I carry out my assignment?" Adachi bows her head slightly, "Hai, you may proceed." Perez starts to give orders to the helm Officer, directing the Murasaki to a safe area so it may perform a series of evasive maneuvers.
Once the ship was clear to maneuver, Perez began the shake-down drill. His tone of voice became emotionless and cold. However, his orders were exactly calculated and precise. The crew of the Murasaki responded to every order without delay, they treated every word as if it came from Adachi herself.
After some time had passed, Perez gave the order for the ship to hold position. He turns to Adachi and smiles, his demeanor returning to one of diplomacy. "Señorita Adachi, I have carried out my orders, and I now relinquish command back to you."
Again she bows her head slightly before turning to face the crew. "Helm, take us home. Comms, inform Kinkaku-ji of our return." She was smiling, and was very proud of the crew and how they had performed. After giving the order to return home, she turns and stares intently at Perez. "SO," she says to him. "How did you like my ship?" Perez smiles politley and responds "Muy impresionante, Señorita Adachi."
The Murasaki soon docks safely back at Kinkaku-ji. Yume, Chenzo, and Misaki are there waiting to greet Adachi and Perez as they disembark.
