i don t know - i know he was against playerfaction designs, yes. - but opinions change. ... i am not 100% sure that he puts this one in.... ... there has been positive feedback, but thats about it.... .

from what i derived form the idea - ... and how it might fit into the storyline of what we have today is that:

maybe ships like these were discovered by zoners who venture deep into space. - they found juggernaut designs that are - since there is no other alien race than the dom kavosh - their design, ancient, but still. - the juggernaut ( or how i remodelled the replace ) vaguely resembles an organic design - ( see the sig ) - which is sort of similar to the nomad designs - with a "head" and a "tail" and a thin mid section.

now this ship can be / is meant to be either a prototype of what the dom kavosh have build before they created the nomads - meaning, an actual ship highly autonomous due to being mostly automatic or AI controlled - or ... a vision of what the harversters did with all the data they collected from organics and technology alike. - meaning something as efficient as the nomads yet as destructive as the human ships.




in a way.... such a ship could be used by anyone that had a reason to use it, even humans ( as it has a bridge section ) - it would be as specific as the nomad light fighter ( public version ) meaning that you d need a good reason to fly it... yet, not restricted to the harvesters.. but rather mostly to all AI chars - and secondaryily to harvesters... with a chance to be even used by non AI units ( maybe a mad zoner scientist )

but yes, the ship as it stands is mostly faction specific... and personally, i would like it to be used by AI chars only. ( not necessarily harvesters, but at least AIs )

but no clear word from igiss about it yet..... i just know he does not really support the phantoms to get their own ships - and now that you say that xings coalition ships are rejected, it suggests that his opinion to locked factions ships hasn t changed. ( there is a difference between the coalition and the harvesters ... harvesters and AIs are mostly open, even to non-playerfaction-players.... the coalition is a locked faction like the keepers, the phantoms, the novapg, the asgard warriors )

but only time will tell what we get ....
