This could easily be mitigated by announcing rewards up front, so people know what they might be going for.

Which is funny because Curator said the exact opposite, that the mystery factor of hidden rewards was what excited him. Not that any opinion is wrong, but it may be an indication that people will be split on this. The best you'd get is a pre determined list of rewards, hidden from public, written down as the event starts and posted publicly after the event ends with a timestamp as proof.
