In recent times the Corsairs have grown all the more bold. With the taking of Omicron Theta they have reached our doorstep and the Battleship Mars is trapped behind enemy lines. The Core is in need of commanders who will temper our soldiers into a fury against the enemy as morale is shaken. Delta is secure but lacks the oversight needed to maintain our defense of the system. I do not have the authority to take such a lead, but have lead successful counterattacks to drive corsair raids out of our systems. I am willing to take the mantel to take charge of the front defenses of Omicron Delta, and here by request to ascend to the rank of Paladin. I vow to maintain our home bastion until Theta is pacified and the Mars secured. My loyalty is to the Core and will be until my legs rust and my body decays!
