How to read a Mini Map

How to read a zoomed in mini map the easy way and the Correct way, By a Old timer
So looking at the Upper left hand corner of C row 4

So x is at C.3 x 4.5 and H= Height
so if the target is 10k up you would say: C.3 x 4.5 H = +10
Z is 12k down so would read C.7 x 4.8 H = -12

Here is the thing, everyone seems to over thinks this, and does not see really how simple it is, when you get it, you can Fly to any point in space and even run into things .
