OFs can give orders to indies, no? I don't think DTR has ever actually ordered an indie to do anything in the span of 2 years but that's one of the few remaining actual and extremely negligible positives of being an OF. Other than perks and being able to do the above, there's no really any other incentives to stay an OF (but that's another story entirely as the OF system actually penalizes active groups).

This pretty much. Corsairs ID line is more powerful than any actual ''laws''. They are just guidelines, nothing more, RP fluff.

How do you propose one actually RP or protect their gameplay from someone just making a spare Corsair alt bypassing the whole system? I am genuinely curious.

XR aren't as easily mined as they used to be and are much more of a time-sink. You could also do some trade negotiations, RP it out, just like you did with us not long ago and got yourself a trading permit.
