You shouldn't really tell your own indies what to do with their own ore or what price to sell it for.
The fact you have an official tag before your name doesn't make you special or superior to an indie player.
In fact, it means you should give your indies stuff to do, help them around with activities, make the faction fun for them. Work for them, not against them.
