Dear John,

I am writing to you today to request a leave of absence from my duties at MFE for the final three weeks of my pregnancy. I am expecting my child to be born mid-December, and I am no longer able to maintain my current level of work due to the increasing physical and emotional demands of my pregnancy.

I have been with MFE for a few years now, and I have always been dedicated to my work. I am proud of the contributions I have made to the company, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given. However, I believe that it is important for me to take this time to focus on my health and the well-being of my unborn child.

I apologize for any inconvenience my absence may cause. I will do my best to ensure that my work is up-to-date and that my colleagues have the information they need to continue my projects in my absence.

I would also like to request your assistance in delivering my child. As you know, I have been your partner for many years, and I therefore trust you completely. I believe that you would be the perfect person to help me welcome my new child into the world.
