Oh, and the reason that they took away your batteries was because of what happened at London Heathrow the other day. Someone tried to sneak liquid explosives onto the plane headed for the states and after that, everything went bonkers. Now you can't have any liquid on the plane with a few exceptions (baby food, non-prescription medications [contact fluid], and a few other things).

Hype :D

And how do you supose I open a AA battery on a plane?

Paranoid? Whos' paranoid? *builds 10 foot high brick wall*
Here's a true, and slightly scary story about how paranoid America actually is: My neighbors built a house and sold it. (It was a nice house.) And the family that moved in tore it down and started their own. Brick house. Few first-floor windows. Eight-foot iron gate in the front, 15 foot high brick wall in the back. An extra 5 feet on to the top of their garage.

They have no yard, no grass. They have a basketball hoop, and that foam you see at playgrounds. They have no basketball! They don't say "Hi" to anyone even if someone says "Hi" in a friendly voice.

In short, they tore down a brand-new, nice looking house and built.... A mini-fortress.

That can acutally be normal for some people. For example where I live its rare to see people not live in mini fortresses. But then agian thats for real security issuses like theivery.

Been here since Discovery 4.77 (lurk mode engaged)

Zapp Wrote:I have recently met and discussed with Atalawohisdi the trader that flies the Caribe. Just so everyone knows, I engaged in Sigma 13. He flies through half the system before going back to New Berlin, where he cruises from one side of the system to the other, hugging the sun as close as he can. All the while, he flies near Battleships trying to scrape me off. I finally send out the white flag, and move back to Sigma 13. However, it was a ruse, and he bit. Knowing his trade route, I interdicted the trade lane and the chase began anew. It ended, an hour after it began, with me retreating, out of Countermeasures and getting very irritated.

He kept boasting how he has never been caught; I'd like to see him beat until he begs to pay, then beaten some more.

- Best day ever. Cool
