Maybe I have been a bit bold recently, but then again the house is more or less silent. The Government still counts on me to do my job, and no one there is stupid enough to ask me what that job is. As long as it stays that way, I can be reasonably bold in my attempts to make ends meet.

I think you and I both know that if you want to use long-range frequencies to triangulate pieces of the Suhl, there's a third party we ought to consider. The Buro does have the capability, but I'm in the process of analyzing the Suhl anomaly for a different reason. With XU-001 lost, and my third-party option occupied trying to breach one of the most secure systems in Sirus - I have to improvise.

The guarantee I've made right now is to stop the Suhl from expanding - not remove it. It is within the potential of the Buro to make this happen, but I'd rather have a solution to sending the beast back to where it came before we entertain my idea.

This brings me to the reason I fear the Suhl more than Gotha's imminent demise.

Graviton, I must've been a fool to let that pass me up. The start of Meningen's research was based on using graviton power sources to stabilize a means of utilizing weapons that could bypass entire systems. If we were to compile enough graviton power sources, like say - the thousands of shields we have in stock - we could potentially force a stable slip space connection that in theory would halt Suhl's expansion. This is my best-educated guess.

Meningen can be repurposed for this, but the system to which it might connect inadvertently is something that concerns me greatly.

Without diving into the specifics of how I know, I have reason to believe the connection could very well pass through the long "lost" Omega-58 system. The Jumpgate that was once thought abandoned is suspected to be active. It doesn't have an end link, however. One end of slip space looks for another exit, it doesn't just continue infinitely, at least I don't think so. Again I'm not the expert on this matter. In any case, opening a link to Omega-58 will create seriously grave complications. The alien forces at work there have been a stain on Rheinland's reputation and a threat to everyone in the Omega territories.

In regards to your concerns with the Kaiser, yes. They likely will send you to a prison facility similar to Heldrungen. You trying to break into prisons does not help your case at all, and it certainly makes my job that much more difficult. I'll say my piece to Klugmann, but don't be surprised if our partnership doesn't expand beyond us two holding the ship afloat.

Remember, avoid Valhalla. I don't want my weapons sitting on my conscience any more than they already do.
