Relocated by BMM in the face of the appearance of this new Kingdom of Gallia’s advance out in the Tau's. My guess? One of them had a serious chit to cash in. Hard to see another way they got off the planet, but once again, it seems like I'm the only one who even gives a damn. Jason still doesn't seem to understand how things work; Kel does, but I know she hates thinking about the matter for long. Alex is too focused on trying to shag whatever bird catches his eye at the moment to even pay any heed to me when I talk about anything that’s even vaguely political. Beck's, however. With her, it's a fifty/fifty shot; it ends in a heated argument with her telling me I shouldn't take on the entire universe's problems, or she just goes quiet. I don't know which outcome is the more frustrating of the two, either. I can't tell if it's silent resentment for where she is stuck or if she just gave up on having any form of empathy for anyone other than us, but either way, it concerns me. 'Becks is one of us, and I don't want to see her get caught up in anything too shady; that's the last thing Jason needs, losing his sister to that. It’s also, the last thing this planet needs is another thug only out for themselves, the cost to their fellow human beings being damned along the way. I'm rambling now; I guess I'll leave this entry with the fact that these Gallic's sudden appearance and advance does concern me, probably not as much as it would, if it wasn't for the fact I'm pretty sure that they couldn't be any worse to live under than Carina and her bloody dogs. Then again, war has a history of getting bloody quick, and as the saying goes, sometimes the devil you know... I lied. I guess I'll leave this entry with that. Which is truly better? The devil you know or the one that might not even be a devil? The answer may be finding your own way. Where there is no place for either devil. But that's a hell of a lot easier on paper than it is in reality.
