For quite some time, he used pure mental discipline to hide how he felt, to keep his feelings in check. It was something about her that he couldn't put a finger on. Was it his liking of Kusari women? He had given a lost soul a new life and in doing so, had created a monster. There was much he loved about her. Her heart, once fractured, was big and pure. Her soul was kind and her little spats with the being within her made him snicker. Oddly enough, her body wasn't the first thing on his mind whereas a majority of those of the male gender would see it first. The mix of Kusari and Hispania made her something special.

He now found himself with her arms around his neck looking up at him.
"I ahm....I think we maybe s...should start the dinner....before it...ahm gets cold."
His reply to this was his arms reaching around her with his hands in the small of her back pulling her tighter to him. Just the feeling of being close to someone was soothing. A gentle smile formed on his face as he looked deep into her eyes.
"The eyes are the gateway to one's soul," he said in a soft voice. His voice had a mild drawl to it from a time past. He could see the flash of purple. He didn't fear Admete but had a deep respect of her. "Do not be surprised if I look into them often." With her so close, he kissed her again.
"I do believe that it is you that is steeling hearts, Miss!" he said with a bit of teasing affection. Finally, he released her from his grip.

He seated her like a true gentleman and poured her a glass of wine and then pouring his own. He then removed the ham from the oven and made a final temperature check.
"Perfect," he said. "Mother would be proud." It was a spiral ham so he didn't need to cut it. It was set on a platter in the center of the table. It was joined with some boiled potatoes, carrots, onions and green beans. He also had a bowl of salad. While it may have sounded like a lot for two, it was serving portions FOR two. Both set up their plates with what they wanted. He also had a spicy mustard for the ham.

Before they ate, he raised his glass for a toast. "To my Christmas Elf. May we have more of these."
