Caliban at his finest.

Of course he leaves out the important parts, just trying to stirr drama and distrust.


Look, you know about the Sentinels, Harbinger and Relevant trying to doom Sirius now. You were there when we got attacked at Heisenberg. I do not know how if anyone explained how big this entire thing is, but since you know about them, just like I, Monique, Madeleine and Kristoff, Aspen, Rebecca and, yes, him, Caliban, do, we are all in this.

This is all about some kind of vault. Harbinger, an alien of a race that wants mankind dead, wants to open it. Relevant wants to open it, because she does not care about mankind and thinks she can get whatever technology is in there.

Harbinger apparently has the ability to create keys to open the vault. He himself cannot do it, thus he makes people become keys. Caliban is, or was, one of those keys. Then he killed himself. For a time being, that key was gone. I do not know if he still is a key, since he avoids telling anything about what happened. We do not know what the hell he himself is, but apparently, he actually died not only once but twice. He got killed by Cobra and Empress once and then killed himself, allegedly, by Relevant's word. Now he is back again.

In the meantime, Harbinger has turned Lazurith into another key. Both Lazurith and Relevant pretend that is not the case, but she would not have chased us that badly if he was not. I am 100% convinced he is a key now. And Rebecca and I were in a situation where we, immediately after it happened, had to decide on whether to let Relevant have that key or not. We had to decide on whether to let Relevant and Lazurith alive. Since Rebecca was longer part of that entire thing, I left the choice to her. I reminded her that if Lazurith gets to stay alive, it means we potentially let Relevant and Harbinger win. Because whatever is in that vault, only Harbinger and Relevant want it open. Everyone else is afraid it could literally be the end of mankind and even the nomads. So, whatever is in there, it was put away for a good reason.

If it had been my decision, and I made that very clear, I would have killed Relevant, and I would NOT have killed Lazurith. I would have taken him with me, because I love him. I do think there is some way out of all of this for him. But not as long as Relevant is alive.

So, yeah, I have all of this in mind lately, and do not get me wrong. The idea of spending time with you privately is a pure delight. I would have liked to say yes. I would have liked to go to New Berlin with you and my girls and just have an incredible time with you. I would love to have a normal life, not needing to care about any of this and just have fun whenever I can.

But we are in this now. While Monique was trying to get us both in bed, I was texting with Lazurith, with Kristoff, who said he was on Caliban's ship, with Rebecca and Caliban, smoking weed. Two keys in one location. Thousands of questions, no answers. Why is he still alive? Is he still a key? What happened? Why did he kill himself? Why did he come back? Why is he hanging out with Lazurith like that? Why is Kristoff casually hanging out with the guy who wanted to kill me? Why is Kristoff casually hanging out with a zombie?

I had all of that in mind when we were talking, Lea. And that is not even the entire thing. Even the nomads are in this. And I have no idea how to get out of all of this. Relevant made clear she can track me down anywhere. The nomads said they would keep an eye on us. The Sentinels can appear literally anywhere. And regardless of what I do, Lazurith says he wants out but gets dragged back in all the time because of Relevant.

I am at the end of my wisdom, Lea. Maybe it is best if Kristoff dies. Maybe it would have been ideal if Relevant and Kristoff would have died when Rebecca and I had the chance. Instead, we let them both live, for the same reason. We both love Kristoff, and it was most likely the entire time that when he was weakened by Harbinger after getting turned into a key, that only Relevant can help him recover.


And Rebecca and Caliban know there is so much more about it, and yet they run around and cry about it and tell half-truths, while I not only had to give up on an incredibly seductive time with you and Monique and Madeleine, or hell, even with you alone, but also went to Coronado on a ship I have never been to be fore, to see Kristoff completely high, see him vomitting his guts out, to carry him over to my ship and take care of him. I went on that ship there, knowing not just one person that tried to kill me was on it, but TWO.

And you know what the best part of all of that is? When I brought Kristoff over to my ship and put him in my bed, I fell asleep after some time of watching over him, and when I woke up again, he was gone, without a word to me or Monique or Madeleine. Guess where he went to? Right, back to Inverness to the Technomancers. No thank you, no "I love you", no "see you later".

Trust me, if I could turn back time, I would have picked spending time with you, no matter in what capacity, over entering the lion's den, breathing in air so thick of weed stench that you could have cut it with a knife, watching Kristoff throw up and then carry his heavy metallic ass over to the Kay.


So, know you know. Meanwhile, this asshole boasts about the many times he shot down Relevant and how he could kill her easily, and yet he does not do it. And when I confront him about the consequences of his actions, he gets furious, cries and yells, insults me, mocks me for my private life and pretends he is so much better than anyone else. He has been fighting this war for years? And what progress did he make, huh? He cares about Lazurith? Then why does he do not do the one thing he boasts about being able to do that would actually help him?

He is a barking dog. And a zombie. Do not let this man misguide you. He tends to twist the truth, and whenever he gets backlash, he goes on a rampage.
