With a previous succesfull training exercise between Bretonia and Rheinland, it was only a matter of time before a new one would be organized. To make it more realistic, the two sides decided to organize themselves on the opposite sides of the Omega 11 system. Making it harder to anticipate where the enemy comes from. Training in 11 however, proved to be a naive move by both navies. (//naivies? hehe) Corsair spies are always assumed lingering in Omega's many clouds and asteroid fields. The Deterrence knowing about the upcoming exercise, made a daring battleplan. They will split their fleet and engage both forces separate before both house's militaries can unite as one fleet.
Only one thing seems to be going good for the militaries. Both "exercising" forces seem both to be quite larger than usual, and changing to live rounds is just the push of a button. It seems both military fleets will have to fend for themselves and defeat their opposing enemy before being able to help their allies on the other side of the system. Likewise, the Corsairs meeting a larger fleet than anticipated will have to do the same. Will the Corsairs equally split their fleet against their house's counterparts? Or will they use a divide and conquer strategy like Napoleon did more than a 1000 years earlier?
Area and Rules
Omega 11
Corsair fleet 1 and Bretonian forces will meet at 5F.
Corsair fleet 2 and Rheinland forces will meet at 3C.
Both sides will engage each other at the same moment.
The victor of one area can only help it's allies once their opposing fleet is defeated.
A fleet is considered "defeated" when all capital ships are destroyed. (excluding gunboats)
Ships docking, cloaking or fleeing the designated area will be considered destroyed and cannot rejoin the event.
List will be updated as time permits.
Please indicate your interest even if your preferred slot is full - you will be added to the reserve and activated as long as the fight is balanced.
Indies are welcome. In case of more interest in a certain slot, Official factions will get priority.
Ship slots and are not final and can be changed.
