Hm. Your estimations are not far from our own... I don't think the recent incidents are mere coincidence. We were so, so close to a breakthrough that would allow the engineering team to set the project truly in motion. I guess we disturbed its resting place. It is well documented that the nomads can interact with human brainwaves, somehow. I believe what we face is something built with that sole purpose - I've reviewed the security footage myself. Our psychologists can not explain the sudden, unprovoked aggressiveness some of my employees are feeling. The entire workforce has been placed on leave and is on constant watch. About the presence of artifacts: we haven't used any in this project, as far as I know. If there's one hidden somewhere, we haven't found it.
