Not even the ISA's detailist risk analysts could predict the event that unfolded: Unexplained behavior from the crew that culminated into a bloody shooting. When the Reasoner's preliminary analysis concluded, everyone was confident that the ship "only" suffered from a particularly violent mutiny or internal sabotage after a failed jump hole transit. With absolute no suspicion - and evidence - of Nomad intervention, no countermeasures or response plans were ever implemented. Such devastating, unexpected variable sent the ISA into full damage control, creating narratives to explain the events. Whatever they come up with will not help the Project's state: Motionless.
