► Full Name & Age: Kurt Schäfer, age 30. ► Enlisted or Officer track?: Officer track. ► Brief biography: Worked as a transport pilot and hauled goods to and from New Berlin for about 10 years, then applied for the Military Academy at age 30. An unremarkable personal history, but personal descriptions might include "intense, eager, or proud." ► Remarkable encounters with the Rheinwehr, or while representing the Rheinwehr as an indie soldat: As a simple cargo hauler, the presence of the Reinwehr was constant. Many stop-and-scan encounters, even a few combat situations where the Rheinwehr flew to the defense. Boring, long hauls can always become more interesting when being in luck of observing the mighty capital ships pass by. Those hulking, brutish and unyielding beasts are intimidating and always giving the impression that Rheinland is safe.
Reasons for joining the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr
It is frustrating to be able to do little for ones Vaterland from a cargo ship. A military organization gives the right kind of order, and makes a difference.
OOC: ► Can you speak English at a level high enough for a RP server?: Yes, in chat and voice call if needed.
► German knowledge level (will not affect your application): Not really passable in a conversation but enough to understand much of the military/war terms thrown around.
► Are you familiarized with the current conflicts in Rheinland? Outline them (copy/paste will mean inmediate and permanent rejection): Rheinland is focusing on it's borders, there are always pirates and other criminal scum making life difficult. Liberty and Rheinland have an uneasy peace, and there is talk of co-operating with Kusari.
► Link to any existing RP you’d like to share (doesn’t have to be Rheinland-related): I don't have any RP going on with Freelancer Discovery, but my experience with roleplay: I've been RP:ing on MMO's for many years, I've been to several LARP's, and tabletop RP.
► Reason for joining?: Rheinland tops the coolness factor of the Freelancer universe, I've always enjoyed when anything German-themed is featured in pop-culture, be it in a silly, serious or evil capacity. I quite like the language, the germans are fun people too.
