My point is, I really dont think missiles are overpowered, at least when I've only got two equipped.

That is the point yes.

Missiles are not overpowered much if you have only two.

They are overpowered like nothing else if you have more.
1st salvo - whole shield
2nd salvo (or actually you need just 2 missiles) - ship destroyed

Now it's all nice with CMs... except that you run out really soon

This is obviously in response to the unlawfuls completely unfair spammage of fighters and bombers. Faced with the dilemma of how to effectively combat this problem (most notably the HF's ability to chew an entire fleet of caps up and spit them out using nothing but 2 Sabres and a bomber or two, or the XA's policy of every member having a bomber), instead of turning to fighters of their own, they decided to adopt anti-fighter loadouts. The result? The HF has two battleships in NY, and could get a third. Obviously its a problem of escalating firepower (I come in a Sabre, I'm met by a cruiser and 2 gunboats, then an HF Spyglass comes out of nowhere), and should be adressed at its core: we (the unlawfuls) are mostly fighter or bomber jocks. If the indy caps (and faction caps too!) would get into a Guardian or what have you, this might just end. Come on, Liberty has the most ships to chose from of any house (4 - 4! - VHFs).

You know Zapp I did not wanted to talk about it except with Razr, but this just calls for it.

Right now it actually is completely unfair spammage.

Liberty folks (talking about LN and LSF) come lately almost only in fighters.
They use their own (rather average) fighters with Vengeances and Magma Hammers (which both suck in their own way).

And what does "the fair HF" bring?

Sabres - the most unbalanced VHF right now... but ok it's perfectly RP to do that... so let's see what guns they use:

ohhh mostly just Krakens which happend to be by far the best guns in game... or... let's see

Blood Dragon fighter (I have also seen a BD bomber once), loaded with Imp. Debs, 4 Krakens and Inferno.

And what's more, some people ^^ come and brag how great they are shooting down Avengers and Guardians with Vengeances mounted.:nono:

Sorry but I don't think that you should use whatever you can get your hands on "because those capwhores deserve it".
Liberty factions were pointed at for using Buckshots (and yes I was one of those that did that). Now they went to use their own guns (which are the 2 worst guns for use on rather slow VHFs in game)

Hellfuries are worse than Krakens yes. But not so bad to be useless.

Now maybe it's time for the unlawful factions to "play fair".
