Reinstalling Disco question

I will be updating my computer soon and necessarily re-installing Disco.
Before the advent of programs like the launcher, I had saved the FL registry keys from multiple previous installs
which included the MP acct info to perform the same action as the launcher by adding the different keys to switch MP accounts.

My question is, if after re-installing vanilla FL and before installing Disco, would adding the registry key that I'm
currently using streamline/simplify the update and allow the Disco server to recognize me as the same user automatically?
