We have heard of alien incursions in the Taus for a while now. Lusignan's disappearance was not a one-time event. The crew of the Saint Amanda have been within range of alien warships multiple times - and this seems to be aggravating. The Saint Amant, was carrying normal counterintelligence and anti-smuggling operations in Languedoc, before chasing a Maquis vessel, which has been obliterated by some aliens in Tau-61. This event, transpired a few hours later, in Orkney.

This phenomenon, which seems to be originating from Tau-61, a system directly linked to Orkney, is a grave matter, and the GNI is investigating on it. The GNIS Saint Amant, sister-ship of the Sisteron, is well-equipped for the investigation of the plethora of signals emanating from either hostile or unfriendly Houses, but also alien. However, we lack the sheer firepower of the Grande Harmonie, which is far more compared to an intelligence ship such as the Saint Amant.
