"Perhaps," was his answer to the dream. He had fond memories of old saloons but also had a lot of violent run-ins in them. Still, it was where he came from and where he shared the memories of his best friends. The thought of being alone together for the night was also in his mind. To try and set his mind into that old west thought, he ordered a straight up rye whiskey. It wasn't his favorite but it set the mood. He toasted her when the drinks arrived.
He was taking in her report from Pygar with interest. With all the things he had to worry about with the Academy, Baffin and the Omega hospital, it was the one area that he heard or spoke little about. He relied on such information from both Isa and Jill.
"I hear a lot of stories from Pygar but never anything on the medical front," he told her. "I hope to meet this Dr. Wilson some day and share some information."
Although he enjoyed the music more, he watched the dancing. Dancing wasn't something he did well nor did he particularly enjoy. He did take note of her interest in it. He was trying more to keep observing and not get involved with it and he was hoping she wouldn't "force" him into it. A slow waltz? That he would be fine with. His admiration was more on her than anything else. He just wanted to be close. When he finally heard something slow, he finished his whiskey and stood up. Offering a hand, he asked her for a dance.
