He was still a ball of nerves. He even got up and looked outside the cabin door to make sure no one was within earshot. He then walked over to the window where he nervously paced with his hands in front of him. He never fidgeted but his fingers were at the moment.
"How could I even get there?" he asked aloud. "If one person so much as sees a Med Force ship there, word will get out quick." His nerves continued to get the better of him. "I would need labs and help to figure this out. How would I get all that and from where? As it is, I have so little to go on about how to address this."
For the moment, his nerves didn't allow him to address her as the woman he loved but by her name and even profession and he was pretty unraveled.
"Isabella, I can appreciate your assurances but the Vagrants....the Nomads....they have developed a rep for their mental brutality. I have seen first hand what happens to someone who has their brain scrambled by them." He gave a nervous snort, "Trust me, it is not pretty. Do forgive me if I do not have a lot of faith in my protection."
He turned to the window trying to collect himself. He did not want to say no but yes was hard to find. "I also do not like the idea of being around beings that can read my mind without me knowing and getting what they want from it."
He sighed. He was thinking of nothing else but about the bad things that could happen and it had a solid grip on him.
