"I apologize for my absence, much has happened as of late that I'm finding myself neck deep in the Platform's civil administration. Klugmann has become begrudgingly indisposed and I can't explain why...

"He was there during the experiment and he didn't hesitate on my orders to open fire on the Nomad ships, maybe he judged my advice to be better than his own in these matters and I'm still coming to terms with that. Unfortunately I think it cost him more than I would have like to have seen... I don't know when he'll be back, I don't know if he will. Probably still coming to terms with his hopes for the Rheinland people coming under threat from a force that can hardly be fought by our means.

"But soon, I hope to change that. I'm sure you've had correspondence with a few of the Bundschuh's goals for this current stage in an attempt for us to finally use the breathing room provided by the implosion of influence once held by the Unioners and Hessians. I'm looking to do that by subsidising our limited cosmo-forces with a rapid advancement of our technological access and automation of civilian infrastructure. But I think i've spoken enough about that already.

"Also Weimar, somethings telling me thats its already too late to try and get there with the consent of Viper... Not that its stopped me, I should be able to find a way back for myself. But first we need a ship to get us close enough to that damn planet without setting off every alarm bell in the MND defence net. So its about time we made a move on the XU-001, we should be able to dispatch a heavy support wing to where its located in an attempt to repair the vessel and get it secured back to Geneva for immediate repair. And I may have worked out a way to find it...

"Residual slip-space energy. Probably the best option we have at trying to find her is looking at what was dragged along in the emergency jump. I imagine when the phase-aligned passage was breached and the XU-001 deviated off its course in the middle of its jump, the Suhl it dragged along with it must have absorbed that slip-space energy until it almost shines like a trailing star-streak. The Suhl fragments doesn't tend to disperse and thrive under certain conditions, best bet is finding a combination of collapsed jump-holes that supply these anomaly fragments to make them glow on sub-scanners. This should illuminate the path..."
