Saluti, fratellu mio,
Indeed, my brother, lots of progress have occurred. We have also maintained Provence as the top touristic destination, and have maintained a policy of welcoming anyone, and anything, that isn't a capital ship, or staging military operation; our Corse brothers charged of upholding our Code in Provence are aware of this. We need to make a licensing office too, since certain commodities are only restricted, and the industry present in orbit, such as the GMS Modular Bases, must be using them. We must allow them to operate unimpeded. Though now, it is in the grey zone of the law. We will work on it, step by step. No need to run.
Loss of "Lucien Sarti" amongst the Unione Corse
My brother, you should also be aware of the betrayal, pathetic mockery, and eventual return of the "Spulsione Squadron", which is now the SOFP and their leader, formerly Capitaine, now-excommunicated Lucien Sarti, "Special Operations Forces of Provence", the regular, lawful military arm of the Provence system. It was already the case before, but it has indeed been fully reorganized ever since the traitor - Lucien Sarti, has been demoted, but threw a ridiculous tantrum that got him excommunicated from the Unione Corse and the Families. Instead, he went and stole more than a dozen ships, with the help of another Corse brother - however, the other brother has shown himself to be smarter, and the ships have been returned.
They are now being completely dismantled, then refurbished, and finally repaired, with their weaponry replaced - all this to make sure they weren't tampered with. Thank God for the berth number 12 on Monaco Base and berth number 4 on Monte Cinto Station, where the initial scanning of the ships happened. This berth number 12, designed for this kind of work - 100% proof to all types of radiation, including radio, light, etc. - nothing can go out, or go in., so any communication will stay in this berth. Our engineer team have installed all kinds of equipment inside and outside of the ships. Nothing came up, no readings, no dB, nothing have gone up from any of these ships; these ones who stole these ships could've stole bugged ships, they wouldn't have noticed, and we would've have had them on radar 24/7!
Anyway, they will soon be ready, and be redeployed. Right now, the SOFP is using the previously-mothballed ships. I had a brief talk with this brother, and I believe he will join the SOFP. As for the traitor, I made it clear that he was excommunicated here, and stopped all communication with him. A shame. He was promising. The worst part I think was that he received a promotion the same day. Well, what can you do.
Monte Cinto Station expansion, publicization and employement
Anyway, Monte Cinto Station will soon be open to the public, and the newest addition to the station will also be fully operational. The module is not public yet, but I estimate it will be completed either tonight or tomorrow, and ready to operate this week, and the station will be fully public Wednesday maybe. All of this will make Monte Cinto Station our headquarters in the industry sector, as it employs full-time 400 people, and we look forward to expanding it even further so it can employ 600 people, and I believe at least 100 scientists.
Expansion
As for the rest, I have attempted to contact GMS about their Toulon Mining Station, as the field is emptying fast, and, as the government of Provence, we need to diversify monetary entries, and I don't want to implement a tax, and this will not happen, we will do anything else, than violate one of our core principles of Provence - for the Modular Bases that are present here, such as the one of GMS; and thus, monetary entries that aren't, the usual, such as tourism, or the export of luxury consumer goods, luxury food, or, other goods. Alfredo chuckles for a bit... Ahem.
Hogosha and Kusari IFF fixing post-war
Anyway, I'm glad to see you here. Remember when we started getting back on dealing with the Hogosha? Capitaine Salvatore, our oldest Capitaine, and the main Capitaine of our oldest l'Ane, was arrested in a system far from Gallia or Kusari, and was pirated. We need to finish the dealings with the Hogosha, and use this as a gateway to get our reputation with Kusari back to baseline - I am not a fan of having to explain, or have to brief our pilots when they encounter Kusarian pilots, that we are not in war, and that it is simply the IFF between the Unione Corse - between Provence, and Kusari, that were not updated ever since the end of the war; meeanwhile, all other factions, even the military, are not hostile with Kusari.
Merchant Navy of Provence
Oh, by the way, we have a new branch that is dedicated to trade; the Merchant Navy of Provence (MNoP), the head is Intermédiaire Tracii Draco. Alfredo nods Indeed, we grew. Here, so you can read up on the Merchant Navy. And finally, we have opened the reception of diplomatic missions from other factions and Houses; right now, we have the Independent Miners Guild, but we look forward to open up even more, I am thinking about the Crayter Republic, since we became far more legitimate and official, we can discuss diplomatically and officially, instead of through discreet meetings, as we are, and have been close allies for very long, even before our own rise.
If you can get it on, tell me, my brother. Regardless; welcome back fratellu mio. Let's drink some champagne, wine, or anything - I pay, you drink, my brother, on Monaco Base, after I'll show you the recovered SOFP ships that are undergoing refurbishment, repairs and analysis. And you'll tell me what you think, of all that happened!
