Key moment for Bretonia

Elbert Matthews
Political analyst

With Sirius glancing on after several months spent by the Crown in relative diplomatic isolation as the Armed Forces worked around the hour to stabilize the way to Dublin by imposing a blockade around the jump hole and nearby gas fields, there is a need for careful steps ahead, both on the economic front and the military one.

There is an almost unanimous opinion amongst Bretonian political parties that Dublin must be retaken regardless of cost. In particular, however, recent weeks have seen a push by the Crown Royalists for major reforms in defence, with some even saying that "those do not wish to see through reforms, now, when the Mollys are on the backfoot, should be considered traitors". Indeed, these talks may have had some success thus far, as both the MoD and the Armed Forces have stepped up efforts to improve tactical operations but have also went out to recall many former cadres from the 830 and pre-830 Admiralty Board, MoD Board and their respective aides and analysists.

Above all, lays the question of how the Foreign Office will manage the clearly split opinion on Dublin -- ranging from accepting a ceasefire to taking on a major military operation in Dublin -- and push for further support from the Colonies.
