After just over two hours, the meeting has come to an end. Although the MoD and BAF spokespersons made grand promises, it remains to be seen how and if these will materialize.

The BBC team will work around the hour to provide a detailed update on all matters discussed over the course of the meeting, from the military changes brought in to facilitate a better response to the Dublin crisis, to the economic measures to be taken in the coming weeks and months.
