The past rotation has been a whirlwind of activity here in the Inverness System. The Gryphon's skilled engineers have been hard at work constructing the prototype chassis for the ARPASS research array. While the assembly itself was well within our capabilities, the actual integration process will fall to Leo Morningstar and the team of Starfliers researchers, along with their enigmatic third-party collaborators.
Speaking of those collaborators, they've become the subject of much speculation aboard the Gryphon. Formal introductions haven't yet occurred, but whispers abound. My gut tells me we're dealing with the BDM – the Büro des Marinenachrichtendienstes. Their ties to the Heisenberg Research Facility in the Cologne System are well documented, and their presence here, alongside Starfliers, raises a few eyebrows.
Frankly, I pushed for stricter access limitations during this phase. While the Habitation Decks are off-limits to our guests, I believe a more extensive lockdown would have been prudent. Unfortunately, the restricted areas had to be limited due to the chassis location and the ARPASS array's integration points. A full lockdown simply wasn't feasible.
Despite my reservations, the project is progressing. We'll soon welcome the full team onboard, and then the real work begins. Until then, I'll keep a watchful eye on our… shall we say, intriguing guests. In the meantime, the crew maintains a heightened state of vigilance.
