Its a Homeworld import Igiss had made for the mod :angry2: and so the model probably won't be going anywhere, but like all the other Homeworld imports anyone can use it. For snub ships fighting capitals, hitbox and dodging (strafe is your friend) matter more than hull does by a long shot- either you get hit and die, or can't get hit and live. I haven't tested it against capital ships but my guess is that it would be decently effective against cruisers on up where regen is key, while not being as effective against gunboats where better turning wins the day.

Then again you simply can't hit the Red Cat in a cap if they have any idea what they're doing, so that particular comparison is a null point.

I dont think the homeworld ships are at all 'protected' from being replaced, appearance-wise. Jinx made an awesome looking model replacement for the kiith somtaaw SHF, and I really hope it gets added.

Anyways, as to the last sentence there... I went up against - what I considered - a very good dragon bomber pilot in a redcat the other day, using my hogosha kusari gunboat... I won in the end, but it was a very long, very stressful fight and for most of it I was certain that he'd kill me. Turns out I ended up getting killed by all his buddies once I won the 'duel'.
