For the attention of Command.
At approximately 19-00 hours while on standard patrol in the Frankfurt system, we received a distress call from Mainnheim control regarding abnormally large activity within the proximity of the Heidelburg sensor grid.
An emergency response fireteam composing of 8 Rheinland Military and Kruger fighter vessels scrambled to investigate the call out.
Upon arrival we determined a large force consisting of Corsairs, Hessians and even some Gas Miner Guild vessels. As well as one Order Cruiser. The Order vessel asserted that our homeland was compromised, quickly driving at our squadron in hostile determination. We retaliated and quickly neutralised the target.
While we did what we could with our limited resources, we could not ultimately crack the barricade of the Hessian cruiser formation that was present.
Despite this, our attention was caught by an interesting piece of detail regarding the Miners Guild and the Hessians. The two forces chose to disregard each other within interests of harming our great soldiers and the Corsairs. And the Hessians showed utmost interest in assisting the Guildsmen, even covering their fightercraft with verocity. This is a security matter we should investigate for possible corruption within the Guild and by extent of those who trade for them entering our homeland.
