Report as follows:
We've noted some concerning incidents in the Frankfurt system following the recent amendments to orders regarding the GMG.
1st Incident, 24/07/834 AS -
Incident Summary: Coinciding with orders to remove all GMG vessels in Rheinland space, several entered Frankfurt. From what we gathered, they entered through Sigma-13. Despite this, they claimed to responding police units that they were "traveling to the Sigmas".
The GMG refused lawful orders to leave and claimed to be sightseeing before mocking responding units. Seemingly by coincidence, a Hessian cruiser approached the scene as police units attempted to remove the GMG ships. Nearby Kruger security vessels and police combat teams engaged the cruiser. After the police gunboat Eisenach was disabled, at least one GMG vessel engaged Kruger forces openly in Frankfurt space. This was at the very least done with the tacit approval of the other GMG ships on the scene.
A military response force headed by the KKS-Kaiser drove the GMG ships back into Sigma-13 with force after they refused to surrender. Hessian forces on the scene also elected to retreat. As a final note, recovered logs indicate Hessian forces elected to not attack Kruger and instead invited the GMG to do so. Given prior Hessian behaviour and their typical aggression, this is an unusual display of restraint.
Notes on Vessels: The Wacky.Wakako was noted to be the primary attacker against Kruger. Recovered logs indicate at least one GMG ship was manned by an individual referred to as a "Guildmaster". Given the ensuing attacks, this implies at least tacit approval from members of the GMG mid-upper hierarchy.
Incident Summary (Preliminary): Military squadrons were scrambled to a skirmish between Hessian and Corsair forces near grid 7C. Kapitänleutnant Holzner commanded the flight group, leading it into the engagement. After establishing contact with the enemy, they recorded a large Hessian cruiser squadron engaging a mixed battlegroup of Corsair raiders. Presented with the opportunity to further degrade Hessian capital strength, they were prioritized first.
As the attack began, two intruding parties made their way into the combat zone. One was a GMG raiding party, the other a small flight of Unioners. The prior had scouts reported inquiring into Helium deposits in Frankfurt to civilians. They also claimed Frankfurt was part of the Sigmas. They proceeded to engage Corsair forces as well as our own. As noted in Flieger Rabe's report, Hessian forces actively avoided engaging GMG forces and at some points fired in support of them. The Corsair raiding force was forced to withdraw, and our ships pulled out in the face of combined GMG and Hessian forces. Damage to Rheinland infrastructure was avoided, however.
Due to the extreme confusion regarding the incident, the high amount of data involved, and the potential implications of some noted events, a more in-depth report will be drafted in the future for presentation to the Oberkommando.
Involved Vessels: Data requires further investigation, see future report.
Relevant Logs: Fully decompiled data will be forwarded to Oberkommando upon analysis by fleet intelligence officers and MND personnel.
Final Note: While military units have been able to respond to these developments, some in the fleet are concerned that a lack of response will give the enemy the initiative. Plans are being drafted for approval concerning future actions.
Für den Kaiser! Für das Volk! Für Rheinland!
Hochachtungsvoll,
Karl Holzner
