Einen guten Tag an alle Kameraden.
The last few days have been quite eventful. First, on 18/07/834, petrol elements reported the presence of a large Rheinland fleet in Dresden. Upon confirmation by Vogtland long-range sensors, independent Hessian and Rote Front attack groups were gathered to form a defense fleet. A few minutes later, long-range interceptors confirmed the presence of another attack fleet by the Corsairs. The situation was getting worse, but we formed a reasonable defense fleet with the help of our NWI allies from the Sirius Coalition. The battle was intense and long. We had to execute several hit-and-run maneuvers to survive against two enemy fleets. Our snubcraft and cruiser captains did a tremendous job by keeping enemy attack elements busy while heavy capitals provided excellent long-range fire support. We suffered some serious losses, but ultimately, we emerged victorious.
After this heartwarming victory, spirits were high, and the crew of Hessen demanded more. On 20/07/834, we joined the SCRA Heavy Attack group in New Berlin. Unfortunately, things do not go as planned. Due to the absence of snub craft and cruisers, we were outgunned and defeated by the combined efforts of RM and BDM.
On 24/07/834, we decided to mount another offensive in Stuttgart. A strike fleet composed of independent Hessians, SCRA and veteran elements of RHA entered the Stuttgart system, but.. to our surprise, we were greeted by Crayter and Corsairs with superior numbers. We were outnumbered and outgunned. Battleship Hessen couldn't perform well due to its exhausted crew and got disabled. Surviving elements confirmed that [RHA]RHGB-Gjallarhorn showed excellent fighting prowess by going against two Praefect class cruisers and one Tribunus class missile battlecruiser and disabled one Corsair cruiser before going down.
On 27/07/834, the command decided to change the strategy. A cruiser and gunboat raiding party composed of independent Hessians, NWI, RHA and Rote Front pilots entered the Frankfurt system. To our surprise, there were GMG, Unioners, Kruger, Military, MND and Corsairs already fighting each other. As usual, we were lacking in snub crafts and the opposition knew it, but this time, we had another trick up our sleeves. The extreme use of Flaks guns and GMG elements was extremely helpful in diverting enemy snubcraft attention and saving our cruisers. Rest was decided as our experienced cruiser captains swiftly got rid of enemy capital ships and we emerged victorious.
After all these engagements, we have come to the conclusion that we have to strengthen our relations with GMG and persuade them to increase their activities in Rheinland with the promise of full Hessian support. Moreover, we have to increase the frequency of raids on Corsair systems, as Legate attack groups in Dresden attacking us in our weakest moment is unacceptable. Gun cam footage is provided for thorough analysis.
