I want to present the battle report of our recent entanglement between our Imperium fleet and the Bretonian Armed Forces.
One of our patrol vessels spotted a Bretonian military fleet doing training exercises near omega-5 Jump hole in Cambridge system. Since our trade route lies in that area we were obliged to take action against such preposterous act. After Verification of their exact location, our battle fleet under the glorious command of Santa Trinidad was deployed to move into action. our Fleet proceeded from planet Crete and jumped into enemy home system using our latest Jump drives equipped ships and soon after making the jump we were in contact with the corrupted officials of Bretonian Armed Forces.
Our Battle Started with us having the upper hand where our glorious ships were able to take down enemy snub crafts and few capital Vessels but about an hour into the Battle we were overrun by the new Armed forces personnel coming from their nearby military bases. Although we managed to shake up their vessels to a certain extent the losses on our sides were not ignorable either. Beside our Capital Class ship CNS>SantaTrinidad all our remaining snubcrafts and capital ships were outnumbered and later on Martyred to the armed forces. However the losses were minimized to collateral only since all the pilots and their Life pods were successfully recovered due to the bravery of Commander of SantaTrinidad.
In spite our losses we have successfully shaken up the Bretonian Military might and hopefully created a successful smuggle route for time being.. Just to be sure, I request the conclave to authorize the use of Escort vessels while making smuggle runs through the Bretonian Houses.
