Because of all the Xenos I have captured I have a good rep with the BH. I give them xeno prisoners they give me money. I don't trust them and they probably don't trust me but we get along for now. However I would not recommend that BHs land on a Junker base. There are too many criminals there for them to live long.

Now, as I generally leave legal traffic alone (unless someone wanders too far from where he ought to be) and routinely shake down other illegals and shady characters for profit and/or deterrence, what side of the law would most consider my 'Junker Policy Enforcement Agent' character to be on?

Now ... I suppose its time for me to start trading like a mad fool until I can buy my OWN battleship ... maybe an Osiris. Then we'll be working toward a capship server. Can't pirate in anything larger than a gunboat ... but you can sure hunt pirates in anything you want.
Bounty Hunter = fly anything, go anywhere, dock anywhere, kill anyone. Sounds pretty much like PVP to me. Calling it role play is just finding an excuse to justify what you do.

I think it's pretty silly for the navy to use a battleship to stop smugglers. That is a serious waste of manpower. Large navy ships should be used for defense not chasing down smugglers. Both the lawfuls and the BHs should realy use smaller ships to stop smugglers and pirates especially since both groups frequent areas with asteroids.

I have also seen many a BH ships camped right outside of a Junker base. I think this is oorp because they should realy fear the pirates that hang out there. I think bases in general need stronger weapons to discourage anyone camping them. I mean its a base its supposed to be well defended.

I will say the worst experiences I have had have been from non faction bounty hunters. They act as galaxy wide police and only fly cap ships. I think the new BH ID will help limit the capship spam of the bounty hunters. They should realy be chasing pirates in gunboats and smaller and leaving their big ships to fight the order.
