For my part, i think Igiss just did two mistakes with this interesting mod:
-first, add Coalition ID, which provides a vision Capitalist / Communist who isn't necessary in FL.
In the second, the addition of vessels from star wars and BSG, which is really a shame to a point of view ofgraphics and breaks FL style.
Bringing new things yes, but reheat the old for make a bad mix with the new, it's just uninteresting as possible.
Funny, Tranquility doesn't even play Coalition here in Discovery. His criticism, which I don't fully agree with is that France is being portrayed as having survived, whilst the Coalition is being represented by the descendants of spies/saboteurs aboard the Hispania, the French supposedly being destroyed back in Sol. Things are more complex than Capitalist/Communist and there are plenty of factions which reflect that, such as the Unioners.
As for 'reheating the old'... that's what Freelancer is about. If you pay attention, you will see that history is repeating itself in Sirius.
In fact, if adding a Coalition ID was the greatest mistake in this mod (Far from it. Whilst Disco is the best mod going, a lot of things can always be improved.), perhaps the descendants of those saboteurs that wrecked the Hispania would be better serviced with the Terrorist ID instead of the Coalition ID. Oh, that's a bad idea? Right.
