Character Summary: Andrew Mitchell was born and raised on New London, a bustling hub of trade and commerce in the Bretonian space. His father, a seasoned merchant, instilled in him a deep respect for the stars and the opportunities they held. Following in his father's footsteps, Andrew attended the prestigious Merchant Navy Academy in Cambridge, where he quickly proved himself to be a capable and daring pilot. His friends and peers admired his bravery, while his instructors noted his quick temper, a trait that both helped and hindered him in equal measure.

Upon graduation, Andrew joined the Bretonian Merchant Navy, where he and his closest friends embarked on trade missions that took them across the far reaches of the Sirius sector. It was during one of these missions that disaster struck—Bretonia found itself embroiled in a fierce battle with the forces of Gallia. Andrew’s ship and its convoy were caught in the crossfire. His friends, who had been like brothers to him, were killed in the chaos.

When Andrew returned to New London, he expected the truth of their deaths to be told to their families. Instead, the Merchant Navy buried the details, spinning a tale of bravery and honor that masked the cold, indifferent reality of their deaths. Furious at the injustice and the lies, Andrew confronted his superiors, but they silenced him, dismissing his concerns as the ravings of a grief-stricken man. Unable to reconcile with the betrayal, he resigned from the Merchant Navy, turning his back on the life he once cherished.

Why do you want to join DTR: Andrew Mitchell has transformed from a respected merchant into a feared pirate, aligning himself with the Corsairs, one of the most notorious criminal organizations in Sirius. As a Corsair, he uses his skills as a pilot to raid Bretonian convoys, targeting those he once swore to protect. His actions are driven by a deep-seated desire for revenge, and he has become a thorn in the side of the Bretonian Military, who now view him as a dangerous and unpredictable threat.
