my name is Renate Bommel and I'm part of ze Oberrat of ze Kaiserreichspolizei in Rheinland.
Her highness, ze Kurprinzessin zur Neckar and Direktorin of ze Kaiserreichspolizei, Freiya Wolf, asked me, wiz her never-ending wisdom, to contact you about an incident, which occured some weeks ago:

Ze kaiserliches Versorgungsschiff Schwaben was catapulted out of a trade lane during an ion storm and was later located near an unknown object, which I would as best describe as jump hole. We were attacked by unknown forces, but were able to push zem back. At some point we had to retreat from ze combat area, because we were running out of ammo.

We later arrived at ze Arnsberg Research Institute, where we offloaded some of our loot and started ze evaluation of our sensor information. We also managed to capture some individuals of whom we suspect to be infected by non-human beings. I assume you already known, zat I'm talking about das Wilde. Alzough zey are already publicity branded as enemies of ze empire, I'd prefer to not deal wiz zem for now.

However, I have ze duty to protect ze civilians of Rheinland, as well as bypassing traders, as much as possible. It should be understandable, zat due to ze sensitivity of zis matter I cannot hire civilian researchers, like from Daumann or ze 'Starfliers', to furzer chart ze area. Zey would also lack ze professional know-how to assess a potential zreat.

Zerefore I contact you, ze eyes and ears of ze empire. I admit, some of us still hold a grudge about what happens during ze civil war, but zat should be issues of ze past. I hereby request ze expertise of ze Rheinland intelligence for two zings:

1. Investigate ze unknown object at 58296; -945; -43051 and evaluate ze strategic benefit or potential zreat.
   
2. Eliminate ze zreat to ze New-Berlin system posed by infected agents.
