Guys, let's just remember the following:
This is a game of consequences and player choice - sometimes you can play your way out of consequences and sometimes you can't. In this case, it looks like there definitely were things that could have been done differently to avoid getting sieged.

Also remember that you're all players in a game, and POBs are a huge investment of real time and effort - you don't have to baby people, but empathy is always called for.

Let's try to be civil and keep the schadenfreude to a minimum

As far as the PoB goes, make a case for yourself file in a PR if you feel you've been wronged. Posts like this usually do the opposite of help.
