And I view his comment as a flame attack against DW.
He is entitled to his opinion and I am entitled to my interpretation of that opinion.
His comment is that DarkWing has nothing to do with Freelancer.
So I guess he wishes us to completly disband, make nothing but independent characters and join the existing clans here. That is about as acceptable as a character wipe.
And his comment is the very same attitude that caused A51 to leave the server because the community could not accept the fact that it's possible for a group to move here and want to stay as a unit instead of being subservient and joining groups that they have no knowledge or relationship with.
Clans moving here as a unit only saves time.
Otherwise they move here as independents, then submit a faction request, then form into a group once again. What does the community gain by having them all as independents, NOTHING.
At least as a formed group you have the option of speaking with someone other then the independent that is the source of an issue. Guess the community prefers to increase the drama level instead of bringing some sort of order. Hmm, Maybe DW should delete all our DW characters, transfer them to independent characters and see how the community likes that. Would it be better for the community, I doubt it but I bet the level of bitching would vanish.
