The Butchering of Forres

Following the disappearances of a LSF lead investigation within the system of Inverness, a search and rescue team was dispatched to possibly find the cause of the disappearances. Starting their investigation at planet Forres which the Freeport 14 orbits. While the S&R team were conducting planetary scans, the freeport reported their presence to the Technocracy of Auxo, seeing any Crayter Republic influence as encroachment on Zoner sovereignty. With many denizens on Freeport 14 coming from planet Erie, still on guard by Libertys seizure of their old home, and not willing to leave the new one to chance. The Technocracy, unaware the Crayter Republic presence was so small, came down with the full might of Valravn Citadels defense grid over Forres orbit. The distress beacons of the S&R team being slaughtered reached Sabah, prompting an armed response from the Crayter Republic military.

In the following week long operation conducted after, a large nomad war-form was discovered accompanied by a swarm of lesser nomads. Samples retrieved from these nomads were tested by Crayter and Order sciencetists, and found generically variant structure compared to samples taken from the nomads from the Drake system. These findings of a "Vagrant" nomad subspecies was forwarded to the Order and LSF separately, with the Order taking higher interest. Sending heavy assets to support the Crayter Republics invasion of the Inverness system.

The Joker and the Thief

The militants of Freeport 14 having no love for the houses or Crayter, were not hard to win over by the Technocracy of Auxo for support. Having received stark warnings and a number of vessels made into hard lessons for stepping in the Crayter militaries way. As messages of propaganda and rumors spreading about the Crayter Republic being puppeteer by Liberty spread across the Freeport. Coming again to crush the freedom of Zoners underfoot.

The Technocracy of Auxo, certain that Valvran Citadel will be the Crayter Republics main target for an attack instead of the Freeport, rally the militants to Valravn while shoring defenses to prepare for the assault on the home of the Technocracy and the independence of Inverness.

A Wild Cat Did Growl

Deep within the East Avlemore Nebula the Vagrant mindshare congregates to decide on its next actions. Having captured, and extracted intel from the missing LSF teams, the Vagrants learn of humanity's suspicions of their existence and location. Without time to create a diversion and with Crayter Republic forces marching on the east avlemore nebula, the Vagrants are forced to take action. Concluding that the Technocracy is the last deterrent before being forced to deal with Crayter directly, the Vagrants wait within the nebula to see if the Republic's advance will be broken upon the citadel's bulwarks.

Two Riders Approaching

The Crayter Republic had been planning to invade the Inverness system since the signing of the Treaty of Carlisle[829] between the Republic and the Kingdom of Bretonia. Following the “BLACKOUT” event that disconnected every jump gate and majorly shifted jump hole anomalies across the Sirius sector. It became apparent that Bretonia was not capable of supporting the original invasion plan, and president Aaron Stone shelved the invasion plan code named: “Alter Call”. Following the political failures in the Republic's response to the slave rebellion, president Stone lost popularity and reelection to his political rival Elijah Ellis. President Ellis has since implemented a heavier handed foreign policy. Demanding action from the Crayter military after the Butchuring of Forres.

With the closing of the northern theater in the deep Taus, Crayter forces had already been amassing at Sabah Shipyard for months prior. The Crayter Republic had the manpower and the green flag for Operation “Alter Call” to commence. Originally designed for a siege assault on Valravn Citadel directly, Crayter military high command has instead directed the force to investigate the East Avlemore Nebula to get a confirmed location of the suspected origin of nomad activity within the Independent Worlds. Carrier group Uranus comprised of =CR=FV-Uranus|46, =CR=FV-Cerberus, and their escorts will deploy to Inverness to weaken the Technocracy defenses and gather intel on the potentially larger threat to the Crayter Republic.

2 CRAYTER REPUBLIC ZEPHYRS WILL DEPLOY ON THE WESTERN NEBULA. THEIR OBJECTIVE IS TO REACH THE OTHER NEBULA TO DISCOVER THE SOURCE OF THE NOMAD ACTIVITY.(names of these vessels =CR=FV-Uranus|46, =CR=FV-Cerberus)
IF EITHER OF THE EVENT ZEPHYRS ENTER THE EASTERN NEBULA, CRAYTER SIDE WILL HAVE COMPLETED THEIR OBJECTIVE.
OPPOSITION OBJECTIVE IS TO STOP THEM FROM REACHING THE NEBULA IN TIME.
